Out of Hours Senior Information Assistant (Maternity Cover, Part-time 0.24fte)
Job information
We are looking for a Senior Information Assistant to contribute to the provision of an effective library service at our Bedford campus library out of standard office hours. You are from a customer service background with management skills in managing a service team. You will provide excellent customer service and lead on delivering a high quality service.
You will take responsibility for a range of library service tasks as well as managing a small team of Information Assistants, being responsible for the library building and staffing Reader Services' service points, whether accessed in person, or by telephone.
The successful applicant will work over the teaching year of 34 weeks, Tuesday and Friday evenings 18.00 - 22.00 and 09.50 - 15.50 on a Saturday between the following dates:
