The newly constituted Graduate School of Business is located within the University of Bedfordshire Business School and is one of the largest Graduate Schools in UK. With a dedicated focus on business analytics and project management education we are committed to excellent, inclusive teaching that prepares our students for professional employment and inspires them to achieve their ambitions. We deliver across a range of business-related subject areas and our provision includes substantive partnership work.
You, the successful candidate, will be joining the MSc and MBA portfolios and you will be supporting the team that delivers these courses to our own campuses as well as to the TNE partners. We would expect you to lead the development of the next generation of courses in the area of FINTECH and will support the deployment and exploitation of the business analytics suite, a new exciting infrastructure that we have secured funding for in order to support the delivery of our wider analytics provision. The ideal candidate will be leading in the development of our new MSc FINTECH course.
The Graduate School of Business enjoys a close network of links with local industry and SMEs as well as an extensive network of TNE partners. We have leveraged these networks to develop a range of authentic and innovative assessments into the curriculum. Thus, an interest in innovative pedagogy, the ability to manage globally distributed units and a commitment to your own personal development within your subject field are key qualities we look for in our team.
A PhD or equivalent professional experience in a relevant subject area is essential and for appointments at senior lecturer at Grade 8 there is a requirement for course management and curriculum design experience.
The post will be based at Luton with travel to other campuses.
