Faculty of Health and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint external examiners to review the MSc and BSc (Hons) Nursing
programmes in Adult, Children and Young People and Mental Health Nursing. We offer both standard and apprenticeship programmes.
The University of Bedfordshire, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint external examiners to the above course(s).
We are keen to recruit academics with an Adult, children and Young People and Mental Health Nursing qualification. Whilst external examiner experience is desirable, we also welcome expressions of interest from individuals new to this role.
The successful candidate will be offered an induction programme and will be supported throughout the duration of their tenure.
You will be invited to attend approximately 3 examination boards per year. You will also be invited to observe practical assessments (such as OSCEs) and visit students within practice areas. The specific remit includes review of units at academic level 4 to 7 contributing to the above awards.
The term of office for the successful candidate will be for a period of 4 years from September 2021.
