The School is seeking to recruit an ambitious staff member with an active interest in teaching, research and enterprise. The School includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate initial teacher training (ITT) courses in early years, primary, secondary and post compulsory education. For this post we require a Drama and Creative Arts specialist who has experience of teaching in UK secondary schools. The post holder will teach on our ITT courses and will undertake school visits. The post holder will play a key role in supporting and delivering a range of education units across a range of courses. A specialism in Drama education is required.
You will require knowledge and understanding of national and international perspectives and areas of contemporary research and development in the field of education. You will have a doctorate, or substantial teaching/professional experience, and a publication record commensurate with your grade and role. There are different types of post available and therefore it is important that you review the details of each job description. The post applied for should be based on skills, qualifications and experience. It will be offered at grade 7 or grade 8 and with a focus on research (lecturer) or professional practice (tutor). Senior Lecturer/Teaching Practice Coordinator
Grade 8: £43,434 - £51,798
We would expect a successful candidate at this level to take on management responsibility.
