You will help develop and implement the strategy for growing the University's outward-facing professional development programme and other short courses, according to business demand, economic development needs and funding opportunities.
The External Short Courses Programme Manager will work with a wide range of academic staff and professional services to develop and oversee delivery of courses meeting demand for higher level skills from employers and individuals. A key element of the job is to secure accreditation of courses by professional bodies, managing these relationships as necessary. The job will also require the skills to promote high quality training and development solutions direct to employers and on-line, via a wide range of media channels.
