Lecturer in Forensic Science
Job information
The University of Bedfordshire is continuing the development of academic programmes in the School of Life Sciences at its Park Square Campus. We are looking to appoint a Lecturer (0.6FTE) in Forensic Science. The School currently boasts a team of dynamic research active staff with expertise in the areas of biomedical, biological and environmental sciences.
School of Life Sciences staff members are also affiliated to the Institute of Biomedical and Environmental Science and Technology (iBEST; https://www.beds.ac.uk/research-ref/ibest/ibest).
Successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent professional experience in the relevant subject area including an appropriate level of research and teaching experience, broad expertise in forensic science applied to areas such as fire analysis, toxicology, and pathology is preferred. The post-holder will contribute to the teaching and development of forensic science and related subjects in the curriculum offered by the School of Life Sciences. In addition, the post-holder is expected to undertake the supervision of undergraduate and taught postgraduate research student projects and dissertations, and contribute to research and enterprise work.
