Department of Law and Finance
The Department of Law and Finance is seeking to appoint two Lecturer / Senior Lecturers in Accounting and Finance to support the delivery of its courses. The post holders will contribute to delivering the Faculty's Strategic Priorities which include a pedagogically excellent student experience, portfolio enhancement and partnership development. Applications are welcome from candidates with expertise in all fields of Accounting and Finance and in particular taxation, auditing, financial and management accounting and corporate finance.
Successful applicants are expected to engage actively with the teaching, research, enterprise and employer engagement work of the department. With a number of courses in the area of Accounting and Finance (undergraduate and postgraduate) this is a rare opportunity to play a role in the development of the Department. Having recently restructured our postgraduate provision and enhanced our undergraduate curriculum we welcome applications from qualified applicants who will contribute to achieving the Faculty's strategic goals.
Applicants with excellent academic and professional qualifications and research are sought but relevant industrial or commercial experience, particularly directly related to the above areas, will also be considered.
