Job information
The School of Media and Performance is part of the Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies and Science. Led by Dr. Jane Carr, the School offers a wide range of courses in media and performing arts including BA (Hons) Music Technology. Music Technology students work closely with media students within the school on collaborative projects. Staff in the School
have a wide range of Industry experience with key staff being renowned for their research including practice based research supported by Arts Council England, British Academy and British Council funding.
Are you a skilled practitioner and teacher of music technology? Can you share your knowledge of music technology with our students? Do you have up to date knowledge of musical trends that inspire students from diverse backgrounds? We are seeking to appoint a skilled practitioner in music technology to contribute to the delivery of our BA (Hons) Music Technology. You will also support and work with the course coordinator and technical staff regarding maintenance and enhancement of resources.
You will also contribute to the planning of curriculum delivery and development and carry out professional, scholarly and enterprise activities in accordance with the University's strategies and participate flexibly in wider academic-related activities. These activities may include inter-campus travel and outreach visits.
