We are looking for a 0.2 FTE Professor, who is an internationally recognised expert in laser inference lithography nano-manufacturing to take a leading role in computer controlled nano-handling, nano-measuring and nano-manufacturing research activities. You should be able to foresee the future development of this area. You will
be working in a team to guide the research in our newly granted H2020 FET project in laser inference lithography nano-manufacturing. You will be also expected to significantly contribute to the strategic plan to our research in computer-controlled nano-technologies, and to provide research and enterprise leadership to further strengthen our cross-discipline research collaboration and to develop new research income.
You will be working in the Joint Research Centre for Computer Controlled Nano-handling, nano-measuring and nano-manufacturing (JRCCN) and the Centre for Research in Robotics and Smart Information System Studies (RSS) within the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing (IRAC). Researchers within JRCCN and RSS work closely as a team, sharing tasks within the overall work programme according to their strengths and capabilities. We particularly value the highly supportive environment provided to the researchers by this approach.
