The University of Bedfordshire is seeking to recruit an Administrator to assist and support its Procurement and Finance functions based at its Luton Campus.
Reporting to the Contracts and Compliance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate vendor account information, monitoring and reconciliation of Purchasing Card expenditure, preparation of monthly procurement related reports and provide appropriate support to procurement professionals. The post holder will also assist finance colleagues in the capture and preparation of data to inform monthly and year end accounts, the processing and maintenance of project information within the computerised financial management system and preparation of reports.
The applicant should have good time management skills, be able to work on tasks independently, and deliver work to high standards. The applicant should be conscientious and professional in their approach. They should have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. Experience of a busy financial accounts department would be an advantage.
