Senior Tutor in Business Management (London)
Job information
The Department of Strategy and Management is seeking a Senior Tutor who will take on the role of Study Hub Co-ordinator for the Faculty's provision at our new London Study Hub. Based at London Bridge, the appointee with undertake teaching on a range of business courses and will act as the on-site co-ordinator for the management and delivery of study hub activities.
The
courses delivered at our London Study Centre are also delivered on several other sites/campuses meaning a key responsibility of the Faculty Study Hub Co-ordinator is to liaise with other staff to ensure the courses remain aligned to those on other sites while still meeting the needs of the London students. A second key responsibility is to co-ordinate local matters and act as a key point of contact for the Faculty's London students and the staff teaching there to ensure an excellent staff and student experience.
The appointee's teaching will be on a range of foundation year and undergraduate courses in business. A broad-base of knowledge and the ability to engage diverse students returning to learning without strong study skills is an essential requirement. Applicants should have teaching experience in HE or FE, a masters degree and preferably additional professional experience and qualifications.
