Academic Portfolio Leader
Job information
Applications are invited for the post of Academic Portfolio Leader. This post is based within the School of Media and Performance and located at the Luton campus, which is equipped with a theatre and TV studio. The person appointed will also be expected to work with staff based in the campus at Bedford and with partner institutions nationally and internationally.
The role holder will be responsible to the Head of School for the planning and monitoring of delivery across a defined set of courses and will work closely with colleagues across the University to enhance the quality of the student and staff experience. The post holder will support further development of cross School activities such as Foundation Year and Professional Practice opportunities, while embedding learning opportunities that support students' personal and professional development.
The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexibly, as occasional unsociable hours may be required due to assessed productions during term time and occasional open days. They may also be expected to visit partner institutions nationally and internationally.
