Faculty Marketing Assistant
Job information
This position will be based in Bedford (normally four days per week) and Luton (normally 1 day per week) with occasional travel to other campuses in the region.
This post is dedicated to helping meet the student recruitment targets of the Faculty of Education and Sport, developing its presence on the web and elsewhere, and co-ordination of resources and activities
to assist senior faculty academic staff in a broad range of marketing and communication initiatives.
The job demands a creative but practical approach
to problem-solving and a basic understanding of marketing in its wider sense, almost certainly obtained in studying a relevant degree and/or equivalent relevant experience, followed by some practical experience. The job holder will need competence in camera work and social media, and must be prepared to work to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
