The School of Applied Social Studies is seeking qualified and registered Social Workers to contribute to the delivery of the qualifying Social Work curriculum across a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses. Social Work courses are currently delivered at our Luton, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury campuses.
We are looking for applicants that have demonstrable teaching experience and can contribute to our vision to provide an excellent student experience in our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. In particular we are seeking academics and/ or practitioners who can contribute to delivery in the following areas;* Social Work legislation and policy (Children and/ or Adults)* Reflective Practice* The integration of theory into practice* Adult Social Care* Practice skills development* Placement tutoring
The hourly paid lecturer rates include time for preparation and marking, and staff are paid per hour of contact time with the students. We support hourly paid staff with appropriate induction and staff development activities.
