The University of Bedfordshire is a modern, vibrant institution with more than 25,000 students across four faculties and several campuses. The University has an excellent track record of high-quality teaching and strong student support, in addition to investing GBP 180m in world class facilities over the past few years.
Reporting to the Student Recruitment
Manager, the Student Recruitment Officer will take a lead role in planning and delivery of high quality student recruitment programmes that raises the profile of the University and builds on the Universities relationships with prospective students. In additional, the post holder will undertake wider recruitment activities (including Open Days and Applicant Events) to meet the University's recruitment objectives.
The post holder must be enthusiastic and have experience of undergraduate/postgraduate recruitment and/or marketing in a relevant organisation, preferably within a Higher Education context. You will have excellent customer service and possess good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to quality. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of student recruitment activity and have experience of working to tight deadlines.
To apply for this role you will need an undergraduate degree in any discipline and/or significant experience within Recruitment and Marketing. This role requires a high degree of flexibility with substantial weekend and out of hours work at various locations on and off campus.
